A piece is only as considered as the process behind it. Here is how we make ours.
Our T-shirts are cut from 240 GSM combed ring-spun cotton, sourced from a mill with more than sixty years of experience in heavyweight jersey. The yarn is combed to remove shorter fibres, leaving a smoother, stronger, longer-lasting fabric.
Every seam is twin-needle stitched for longevity. Crew necks are reinforced to hold their shape through years of wear and wash. Hems and sleeves are garment-washed to soften the hand and pre-shrink the body, so the fit you receive is the fit you keep.
The AS monogram is embroidered - not printed - at the left chest. A small mark, built to outlast the shirt itself.
Each piece is inspected three times before it leaves South Africa. If it would not be worn by the people who made it, it does not ship.
